Summary
Nintendo has announced a new Indie World Showcase for October 28 at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET . The broadcast will run about 15 minutes and, like previous streams, will focus on a wide range of games from third-party Nintendo partners. As usual, you can catch the showcase through Nintendo's official YouTube channel . "Tune in for roughly 15 minutes of new announcements and updates on indie games coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch," Nintendo's announcement read. Nintendo's last Indie World Showcase was held back in March 2026 , and it showed off several upcoming games at the time. Many of these have already been released, including the high-energy Denshattack, a port of the underrated twin-stick shooter Minishoot' Adventures, and the shadow drop of one of 2025's best games, Blue Prince. Short and sweet, the Indie World Showcase offers a broader look at the smaller games coming to Switch consoles. The end of the year is fast approaching, and Nintendo's 2026 holiday-season blockbuster will be a remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. It was heavily featured in September's The Legend of Zelda 40th anniversary Nintendo Direct , alongside other Zelda-centric announcements.
