And yet nothing in the game tells you the locations of that darned item. Well, we’ve got the answer right here, though it seems to be tied to another objective. In This Article The Agonized Ironmask and the Female Puppet Bai Xue quest Bai Xue rewards - Memory Flowers and the Snow & Blood accessory The Agonized Ironmask and the Female Puppet The Pangzhen Backstreet Courtyard Key--believe it or not--can be found in the Mountain of Imprisonment . Specifically, it’s in an area that you pass by on the way to the Shrine Outer Gate. It’s also where you encounter two NPCs, the Agonized Ironmask and the Female Puppet. During our playthrough, we repeatedly talked to both NPCs but nothing happened. We kept trying even after completing the main quest in the region. However, after we completed Hero’s Lament/Moji’s Relic , the Agonized Ironmask suddenly had new dialogue. This led to a short side quest called Ledger of Atonement, where we handed over a book from the caves to the NPC. We then defeated the Ironmask in combat. He dropped a Sha-Chi Amber Fragment and the all-important Pangzhen Backstreet Courtyard Key! These quests involve the Agonized Ironmask and Female Puppet. Bai Xue quest The death of the Agonized Ironmask unlocks a new quest from his Female Puppet companion, Bai Xue. She tasks you with bringing the Bloodstained Necklace to her real body. Now that you have the Pangzhen Backstreet Courtyard Key in Phantom Blade Zero, you’ll be able to do just that. Return to the Pangzhen Green Serpent House and cross the bridge to the locked gate--i.e. the one near Old Man Gen’s house. Open the gate and climb up the walls to reach the rooftop. You should be able to enter Bai Xue’s home. The phantom Bai Xue (left) wants you to bring an item to her real body (right). Bai Xue rewards - Memory Flowers and the Snow & Blood accessory Here's what you need to do next: Place the Bloodstained Necklace near Bai Xue’s real body to spawn a Memory Flower. The other Memory Flower petal is just outside in the yard. Interact with the trunk of the large tree in the yard to receive the Snow & Blood. This accessory increases the damage you deal to enemies if at least one of them is bleeding. All enemies even take 20% additional bleeding damage when attacking. That does it for our guide on how to open the darned Pangzhen locked gate in Phantom Blade Zero. If you’re seeking to help other NPCs, you might want to conclude Old Man Gen’s story .
