Google Maps now uses the whole of the inner and outer displays on the iPhone Duo. It's still early days for developers and the iPhone Duo, so it's still the case that very many iOS apps look poor on the new device. But those developers who weren't ready on day one, are now starting to support the benefits of the device. Google Maps for iPhone has now been updated to version 26.44.4 expressly to add iPhone Duo support. As always, Google's App Store notes say only that the release features bug fixes, but if you're an existing user, you will see the real benefit immediately.
